I am pleased to say the afternoon went much better in the "NO" department. Kai was only on the computer to do math.
After the kids got home from school, they asked him if he wanted to play Uno. Little C brought his friend J over to meet and play with Kai so they wanted to do something he enjoyed which is Uno. Kai said, "No." They coerced him fairly easily and they had a great time. Kai was very comfortable with friend J.
He helped Dad with the lawn by cleaning the grass of the driveway with the blower.
Today was his doctor visit. This was NOT something he looked forward to. I took him to school for the one hour before picking him up. This was a two hour appointment!! Holy moly! We learned that Kai really does NOT like to see ANY blood...not even a tiny little drop. We have to take him sometime in the next day or so to have blood drawn and I am really dreading in. He has a few scars in his head so it makes me wonder what he has experienced or seen to dislike the sight of blood so much. Maybe there is no reason.
We are being referred to a hospital a couple of hours away to find out about his right limb disabilities. We suspect cerebral palsy but we are going to be going to a neurologist to find out if we can improve his capabilities in those limbs. We'll see...

The dreaded doctor visit is now behind us but the blood draw is our future! He has to have several tests run from the blood draw as standard procedure. We are waiting to hear from the dr if he needs any more vaccines. Did I mention he is afraid of needles, too? He's going to think that everytime he goes to the doctor he is going to see blood. Poor guy.
