After school today, Kai sought me out. I was in on the computer and hear, "Ma?" He comes in and says, "Kai two friends." I said, "You have two friends?" He says, "Yea. 2 girls, no boy," and then he grins and laughs. I asked him what the girls' names are. He said one girls name is Nina and he didn't know the other girls name. He then says, "Buy lunch?" It comes out as buylunch? It sounds like one word. I ask him, "You want to buy lunch tomorrow?" He says yes so I guess we better find out tomorrow how that works at his school. My boy is showing his independence! I love it!!
